Although this place is a bit out of the way for me I now always come here for large meat orders as they have fresh, great tasting meats. I especially like the Lamb backstrap but everything I've ordered from here has been great so far. The only downside is that it is super busy and you have to wait in line for some time to order. Highly recommended.
The chicken drumettes r my favourite but the last time that I purchased Them from Australian meat company they didn’t taste good and when we baked them they didn’t have enough flavour and did take out a lot of water while baking them and I think they may be pumping water into them so the weigh
More for they were just so watery if they don’t give us good quality they will loose a lot of customers and the meat has changed in the quality of some cuts of meat also prices r very high some smaller butchers give better quality meat and lower prices
BAD EXPERIENCE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
WARNING - weigh your meat delivery!
All 3 of our meat orders for Xmas were incorrect.
I don't normally post reviews as I like to give a business the respect of a phone call to advise of an issue. However when my partner did this he was told "we cannot see your order in the system" (Order no. 9115 - 18th December 23) and basically it was bad luck, you rang too late to tell us when we called as soon as they re-opened.
On Xmas day you do not expect to find 3 seperate bags of gyros meat weighing 3kgs less than your order.
So this will be our last order and I'm hoping a message to the owners to admit to what may have been an honest mistake and in future have better customer service as this will keep your customers coming back.
The worst customer service. Used to be friendly and helpful now short and rude. Came in today for cheese one they didn’t have fair enough the other before I could even ask how much i wanted she said i’m not grated it for anyone today. there was just me and my daughter in the shop. Will absolutely never shop here again. Try Brunswick IGA for your greek cheeses give this place a miss.
Meat and prices are fine, service could be better. They also ran out of number rolls and people standing around not knowing who’s next is a pretty basic problem to solve in a butcher shop.
Was told they close at 5:30pm called them @ 0500pm and asked to put a phone order through but it was 0515pm when we arrived and the lady already closed the shop and didn’t want to serve
Disgusting service
Been hit and miss this last 12 months but got some gyro for new years and it turned out great. Marinated well and was very tender when cooked.
Customer service was poor, especially from the lady behind the counter. Was told they close at 1pm sharp even though it was 12:55pm when we got there. I even called and asked to put a phone order through as we were going to cut it close and she was unhelpful and didn’t seem to want the money we wanted to spend.
Disgusting service and will make sure I warm the family and friends who go there.
